Behind Zenithia is a personal understanding of the challenges families experience when raising a child with autism and other neurodevelopmental differences.
Founded on the belief that every child deserves support that reflects their individual needs, Zenithia brings together practical everyday tools, visual guidance and a more personal approach to understanding each child’s world.
Our story begins with a father who wanted to make everyday life a little easier for his son and other families facing similar experiences.
Meet Anders Joelsson
An Autism Father. A Father’s Perspective. A Purpose Beyond His Own Family.
Inspired by a father’s determination to find better ways to support his son and other families raising autistic children.
Anders Joelsson is an autism dad who experienced first-hand the daily challenges of raising a child with autism and the frustration of finding accessible, easy-to-use tools that supported his son’s individual needs while helping him as a parent better understand and manage everyday challenges.
As the founder of InsightTerapi,, Zenithia, AutismDad United and Autism Parents United he has turned his personal experience as into a mission to support families and create a more personal way for children to understand their day, express their needs and gradually build greater independence.
A Personal Reflection
Why We Started Zenithia
Being the parent of an autistic child changes how you look at everyday life.
Activities that appear simple to others can involve preparation, explanation, reassurance and support. Changes in routine, transitions and situations that are difficult to understand can create challenges for both the child and the family.
As a father, Anders understands the importance of helping a child know what is happening, what comes next and how to communicate when something feels difficult.
He also understands that every child is different. A support method that works well for one child might not work for another.
This raised an important question:
What if children had a more personal way to understand their everyday world, with support that reflects their own routines, preferences and needs?
What if parents had practical tools to help organise the day, understand their child’s experiences and make everyday support easier to manage?
That thinking became the foundation of Zenithia.
We believe technology should respond to the individual, not expect every child to fit the same system.
Zenithia is being developed with that belief at its centre.
